Originally from the Pacific Northwest, she attended the University of Oregon and focused her studies on copywriting at the School of Journalism and Communications. It was within the SOJC she found her love of collaboration and natural ability to bring creative projects to life.

Now after a decade in NYC and a recent relocation to LA, Thomas has established herself as a creative producer with multiple award-winning projects under her belt. Notably, she has focused her efforts on supporting independent projects that seek to challenge conventional storytelling methods and the “by any means necessary” mentality.

Thomas also has a deep knowledge and understanding of audiences, as a result of her many years working as a social and digital strategist. Through her work for companies like A24, Field of Vision, CNN, Facebook and Samsung Mobile, Thomas has developed an audience-first approach that has served her well in her marketing career and early stage film development alike. She has frequently covered this topic as a panelist at film festivals and companies like International Film Festival Rotterdam, TikTok, and Backstage.

Thomas is a Sundance Producers Intensive fellow for 2021 and attended the 2022 Gotham Week Project Market with an in-development narrative feature. Most recently, she was an Associate Producer on India Donaldson’s breakout debut feature GOOD ONE (Metrograph Pictures).
